Bed and Breakfast in Pisa
The heritage city famed for its cathedral area, listed by UNESCO as a heritage of mankind site, and in particular for its Leaning Tower, which is one of the wonders of the world.
Its history is a rich tapestry of events dating back to the 11th century, although there is a Roman site as well. It was a mediaeval city, one of the four Seafaring Republics, and still celebrates events dating back to those days, such as the contest on the bridge, fought out on the feast of San Ranieri, patron saint of Pisa, in June.

Its architectural style, widespread in Tuscany, is known as Roman-Pisan. A large number of churches of exceptional artistic merit bear witness to a succession of architectural styles over the course of history.
Pisa is famed, too, for its cultural and academic tradition, boasting one of Europe’s most ancient universities, its oldest botanical gardens and the Scuola Normale, an institute of higher education that turns out graduates of exceptional talent.
The San Rossore nature reserve is also renowned for the natural habitat it provides.
